Istrilene - 55 years young - Part 2 - Addition to our range with day and night creams and a body milk
For the continuation of how Istrilene got off to a flying start, we consulted one of our former consultants , Yvette Van Veuren .

Shortly after the first three products were sold, the range was supplemented with three day creams , one for each skin type (dry, normal, oily skin). There were also three night creams , plus a body milk , today called body lotion.
There was also the famous crème suprême mask . This thick, greasy cream had to be left on your face for 20 minutes (after cleansing with milk & tonic) and rinsed off with lukewarm water after 20 minutes.
For a long time we claimed that Istrilene was not a cosmetic, but a ' cosmeceutical' . What we meant was that the quality of the raw materials and actives we used were & are of pharmaceutical quality. Because of this, we still proudly present the fast and high-quality effect of all our products today.
Modern raw materials and formulations mean that the three day & night creams have now been replaced by one product that cares for the three skin types:
All Day Super Moisturizer Day Cream
Complete moisture balancing day cream for all skin types . Works perfectly especially on normal to sensitive skin with a lack of moisture and with minor skin irritations. Contains a multivitamin complex with E, C and B3 , and improves your skin texture in combination with Aloe Vera and Calendula .
Due to its specific composition and nourishing ingredients, this cream ensures that the skin's balance is restored and that it becomes healthy again. The Vitamin Night Cream regenerates, hydrates and neutralises free radicals . Contains St. John's wort, olive oil and vitamins C, E and F, to prevent premature ageing. It is a nourishing cream that provides beneficial relaxation for tired skin. This cream can also be used on areas of the body with psoriasis or other minor skin problems . Suitable for all skin types .
The body lotion of the past was a stiff formula that was harder to apply and left white streaks. By using new technology in the field of formulations and by using completely different base and active ingredients, we have come up with a truly wonderful product that hydrates and protects your skin, arms, legs and body for 24 hours. This 'lotion' gives a silky shine and a radiant appearance to your body, and is not sticky:
24h Hydration Body Emulsion with vitamin E
Strongly firming, nourishing and moisture-regulating body emulsion. Stimulates the oxygen supply in the skin and contains vitamin E. Suitable for normal, and dry to extremely dry skin.
The crème supreme mask , which was mainly intended for dry skin, has now been replaced by two products that have a similar effect, but cover multiple skin types and have a fast effect:
The Face & Body Butter is an intensively nourishing and softening body butter for long-lasting hydration and protection of the face and body skin . Suitable for dry to extremely dry skin.
Cream mask that provides the skin with oxygen . With the main raw materials menthyl lactate and the complementary active ingredients oxylastil and seromarin . You will feel a clear improvement in the skin after the first use. The extremely short application time of 3 minutes no longer offers the excuse: "I don't have time for that". Suitable for all skin types, extremely suitable for very tired and very aged skin .
